Hannah Fox
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST (REGISTRAR)
I believe that finding the right psychologist is different for everyone and I will focus on establishing and maintaining a strong, safe therapeutic relationship with you. My approach is supportive and I use humour and empathy to understand and know you deeply. I will challenge you to be accountable, curious and reflective, holding space for your self-exploration, growth and development.
I can provide you with the support you need to make sense of a difficult time in your life, or ongoing conflicts within your relationships. I am also passionate about helping you make sense of the challenges you have faced in your past, understand how it may continue to impact your present, and walk alongside you as we work towards the future that you want.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on skills and techniques from multiple modalities to meet the individual needs of each of my clients. I understand that when it comes to therapy, there is not a one-size fits all approach and I value your feedback about what seems to be working well or not for you during our sessions. The therapy modalities that influence my approach the most, are Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have also attended specific training with QuEDS (Eating Disorders), QIFT (Family Based Therapy) and Circle of Security (Attachment and Parenting).
I am currently taking referrals for individual therapy for adults and young adults from ages 16 and up. I endeavour to provide a space that is accepting of all people and is culturally safe.
I look forward to supporting you at GrayMind Psychology.
