Isabella Zoppi
PSYCHOLOGIST (PROVISIONAL)
My approach is compassionate and empathetic whilst ensuring sessions are driven and focussed on your goals and values. I believe collaboration, authenticity, and willingness are important foundations in developing a strong therapeutic alliance. My person-centred approach ensures that my clients have autonomy and a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
I am particularly interested in mood, relationships, and interpersonal concerns. I have had the privilege of working with adolescents in private and government school-based positions and with adults across the lifespan (15+) in private practice. I believe we all have the tools within ourselves to create change and my goal is to help guide you through this process. To facilitate this exploration, I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy to encourage and empower you to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
I value the opportunity to work with you and look forward to supporting you in this next step of your journey. As a psychologist with provisional registration I am currently completing my final year of supervised practice, which entails more comprehensive supervision. If you feel you resonate with the above, please feel free to reach out to us here at GrayMind Psychology.
